A SPACE FOR JUGGLERS
In 2007 Giuseppe Tornillo, after many journeys to Rome, opened a gym for jugglers in Viareggio, a place which over the years became an important reference point for the local street art companies, networking with other gyms in Italy (starting from those in Florence and Pisa).
Until 2020, free training for professional and amateur jugglers was held at the gym of the Ass. L’uovo di Colombo in partnership with the Ass. Giorgio Tazzioli, L'Asino che Vola. It wasn’t just a training space but shows were held as well, promoting several juggling cabarets and being a creative space that hosted open rehearsals of professional companies.
Currently the gym is no longer active, but through other places and events La Compagnia Begheré is still a reference point for jugglers and street artists who cross Versilia.

STREET ART FESTIVAL AND THEATRE
Since 2017, La Compagnia Begheré has been part of the board of the Association Anfiteatro Fabio Chiesa, which aims to follow the solidarity principles that characterised the artist Fabio Chiesa and intends to promote the dissemination of culture, theatre and street art through reviews, shows, workshops and get-togethers within the Amphitheatre space.
The association affiliated to ARCI is a non-profit organisation managed by volunteers and supported by the participants.
